Is it true that a question should never be your first sentence on the SAT essay?

I heard that you should never start off your SAT essay with a question. It's not a rule; the person who told me that said the ETS just doesn't like it. Is that true?Is it true that a question should never be your first sentence on the SAT essay?
I've never heard that, but I can see why your friend would recommend against it: the prompt is the question, so you should be jumping straight into the answer. Don't get too hung up on it, though. If the rest of your essay is well-written, I don't think it'll make that much of a difference, and the multiple choice questions count for more anyway.
