i think if Kobe or LeBron do not get the MVP than one of two people deserve consideration:





Chris Paul: The Hornets are one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this year and Chris Paul has really made them into a contender in the West. They lack the experience and maybe one or two more pieces to contend with San Antonio and the Lakers, but i think it all depends on how they finish the season but he definitely deserves some consideration.





If the Hornets falter down the stretch than probably Kevin Garnett (even though he has been injured for a big part of the season). He has made a big defensive impact which is part of the Celtics success this year.

It's Paul Pierce, the best player on the Boston Celtics, the team with the best record.KG had a big injury, so that prevented him from contributing his previous numbers in Minnesota. Paul Pierce has been consistent in his 11 years in the NBA, so he WOULD be MVP.
