Is it true in america the fbi cannot question a child under 16 without an adult present?

For a story. Can someone confirm i'm right in thinking this?Is it true in america the fbi cannot question a child under 16 without an adult present?
The FBI Agent should be classed as an adult anyway which = an adult is present, I don't think there are many child FBI officers, Have some common sense. Most children under 16 shouldn't need to be interviewed by the FBI anyway so you obviously have some problems going on, If the child has done something wrong that is down to parenting problems not an FBI problem, It annoys me when people try and shift the blame when they should look in the mirror, If the child has done something wrong if he or she is old enough to do the crime then their old enough to be punishedIs it true in america the fbi cannot question a child under 16 without an adult present?
Yes. Or they can, but whatever information they received probably couldn't stand up in court. As it's the view that children are easily manipulated and can easily succumb to duress. Either of which would get the evidence thrown out of court.

So good investigators wouldn't botch their case by questioning a child without a parent or adult advocate present.
