Disgusting question: Is it seriously true that at fast food restaurants, the people who work there?

(If you are eating anything don't read.)

Spit in your food

Make the food without washing hands

Sneeze on the food and transmit the virus that makes people obese

Drop the patties on the floor and pick them right back up to make your burger

Pick their nose

etc........

Makes me want to puke just thinking of McDonalds....BLEHPWEH!!!Disgusting question: Is it seriously true that at fast food restaurants, the people who work there?
My uncle's friend is a waiter. He said that a waiter/waitress will never do any of that stuff to your food or drink unless you really tick them off. The most they will do is give you your food later, or give dump a bit of your food out into the garbage. At an extreme, they may dump the food on you. Bottom line, don't worry.Disgusting question: Is it seriously true that at fast food restaurants, the people who work there?
From personal experience, the disgusting things you mention happen far and few between. I have only witnessed one instance where a cook dropped salad on the dirty floor, picked it up and put it on a clean plate! After seeing that, I never allowed my students to go back there for work experience. That's one instance in quite a few restaurants (fast food or sit down) in a number of years. Some of this stuff just gets blown out of proportion.
i personally think it is disgusting but to answer your question with fast food places that employ young people yes they have done this and i have seen it

as far as private restaurants go it is less likely

but as far as everyone washing hands ,not always done
Most places have protocols when handling food, depends in the area and place, some restaurants enforce hygiene protocols to keep the food from cross contamination, for example, and also to serve quality food handled carefully for teh consumer. Best bet is know the place you go eat to and or just eat at home, it's safer and healthier anyways. I mean it's junk food its supposed to be gross yet addicting, lol.
LoL at ';Sneeze on the food and transmit the virus that makes people obese';

I didn't know there was such a virus...

As for dropping things and still serving it yes, where I used to work we'd pick up the dropped buns and still use them instead of putting new ones through the toaster because it takes so long.
When I was dining in at one fast food place a few months ago, the drive through person went out side to smoke, ( on the sidewalk just by the entrance door) all the while still taking orders. She tossed her cigarette, opened the door, came back in went straight back to the french fry basket. She did not wash her hands. She started filling the fry boxes and kept on taking orders. I have not been back there. ugh.
McDonalds has protocol where you are supposed to wash your hands every half hour, or every duty change. the spitting and dropping food is rare. they only do that if you are a asshole.
If someone annoys them, lets them down, ect, then i wont blame them spitting in that unappreciative and very mean person's food. he got whats coming to him. Other than that, The workers always go through a routine before they cook or get back to work. if you saw the signs in their bathrooms, such as ';employees must wash hands before leaving the bathroom';, then you know that theyre clean
I am following this question because I want to see the answer.
