Is this true? Question about olive oil?

I was told that if you heat up olive oil to a certain degree, it will become unhealthy. Is this true?Is this true? Question about olive oil?
This is in regards to extra virgin olive oil.

I think the answer is that it becomes less healthy.

Extra virgin olive oil is touted to have loads of anti-oxidants.

The heat breaks down the anti-oxidants.

There are concerns that heating too high may increase Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), a carcinogen. I think the jury is still out on that one.Is this true? Question about olive oil?
i know for a fact that many persons fries in extravergin olive oil...personally i don't like the taste when fried....but is not unhealthy, is a good fat if you take it in a small doses...
olive oil isn't really ';healthy'; to begin with. it's certainly better than butter or other oils but if it's health you're looking for, you're in the wrong place!! but no, nothing changes the oil as you heat it up. there is a point (relatively low from what i've observed) that the oil will start to burn and you won't be able to cook in it (if you're trying to fry something in the oil)
